DOUGLAS, Gertrude Shelley Williams - Putnam

Word has been received of the death of Gertrude (Shelley) Douglas, 81, Albuquerque, NM, who died April 24. Born July 16, 1915 at Manhattan, she was the daughter of James W. and Minnie Belle (Layman) Williams of Putnamville.

She was the granddaughter of Worthington A. and Ellen Ingram Williams of Putnamville. She was married to Richard Douglas of Hampden, Mass.

She is survived by a daughter, Krystan Douglas, a professor at the University of New Mexico and Albuquerque Community College.

Memorial services will be conducted at the University of Albuquerque.
